Crikvenica Riviera
On the first Advent weekend, join runners from all over the region at the Adria Advent Marathon, which is held along the beautiful Crikvenica Riviera! This unique race offers the opportunity to experience one of the most scenic routes in the region—right next to the Adriatic coast!
With a long-standing tradition, the Adria Advent Marathon is a significant sporting event marking the end of the running season, gathering all levels of runners—from recreational to professional.This year, the marathon takes place from November 29th to November 30th, 2025. and you can expect a combination of sports challenges, true holiday magic and a handful of accompanying events.
The Adria Advent Marathon offers several race routes of varying distances, tailored to the fitness level and motivation of all runners. On Saturday, November 29, runners can take part in the Advent 5K (5 km), the Cener (10 km), ensuring fun and challenge for all generations. Sunday, November 30, is reserved for the main events – Marathon and Half marathon, when experienced regional runners will take the stage. All routes start from the central square of Crikvenica and take place along the coast of the beautiful Crikvenica Riviera.
Races, holiday atmosphere and a rich program of events are an ideal combination for the beginning of the Advent period and will be an unforgettable experience for all participants.

A fun race for dogs and their owners on a 1 km course, filled with a joyful atmosphere.

Children’s Race
A course designed for children of all ages – from babies in strollers and toddlers, to kindergarten kids and primary school students, both younger and older grades. The event is organized in cooperation with the Društvo Naša Djeca Grada Crikvenice, as the co-organizer of the children’s race.

Advent 5KM
A short-distance race of 5 km that offers a fast pace and a dynamic route through the city, ideal for quick results.

Marathon
