The 'Oily fish month' is inspired by the rich fishing tradition of the Crikvenica region and is part of the 'Blue Fish Route' project. The significance of blue fish as the ruler of this area is reflected in the fact that the 'Oily fish week' has evolved into a 'Month' and takes place from September 15th to October 15th.
